YOGA STUDIO

The old barn has been transformed into a space for movement and creativity. Yoga and fitness classes are held on the upper floor, and the lower floor is available for art and creative workshops.

The space has been renovated with great care, preserving as much of the original character as possible, including the marks left on the wooden floor by horses’ hooves.

Patterned rugs woven by local artisans add warmth and softness to the atmosphere. In the barn, nature is always present. The temperature inside follows the rhythm of the outdoors.

Sauna

In the early 19th-century sauna, you can enjoy gentle steam while listening to the soothing sound of the nearby rapids.

Washing is done in the traditional Finnish way: mixing hot water heated in a cauldron with cold water using a ladle. This simple ritual makes the moment peaceful and timeless, just like it has been for centuries.

Between sauna sessions, you can take a refreshing dip in the river flowing beside it. The water is clean, and the current is calm.

Sitting room

The sitting room, filled with beautiful natural light, has wallpapers that were hand-painted in the 19th century.

The small tables can be moved to the sides, so the middle of the room can be left empty if desired.

The hall is intended for calm activities, like meditation, naming ceremonies and meetings.

NATURE

There are many places in the garden where you can relax.

There is space on the lawn for activities. It has been used for landscape painting, meditation, yoga, and Nia dance.

A few nature trails run through the forest surrounding the place. In the forest you can often see deer, foxes, owls, moose, hares, cranes, and small birds.

Horses spend their summer in the neighboring field.
